How Can We Help?
My sensor’s LED is blinking orange, what do I do?
If the H2know LED is blinking orange, it could be caused by incorrect Wi-Fi credentials stored in the sensor’s memory, a weak Wi-Fi signal where your sensor is located, or Wi-Fi router issues.
If you are attempting to connect your H2know to your Wi-Fi for the first time and the LED is blinking orange:
First, confirm the SSID password you are using is correct. If you would like to change the credentials that your sensor uses to connect to Wi-Fi because you think you may have made a mistake when you first entered the credentials, go into the H2know App, click on Deployment then Single Sensor Setupand choose Blinking Orange. Follow the instructions to place your sensor into Reset Mode.
If your H2know had previously been connected to Wi-Fi and the LED is now blinking orange:
This could have been caused by one of two things:
- Low Wi-Fi signal strength at point of installation: if you confirmed that your sensor could connect to Wi-Fi when you were at your computer and then got an orange blinking LED when you plugged it in at the installation location, it is most likely that sensor cannot connect due to low Wi-Fi signal strength. A Wi-Fi booster might be required.
- Wi-Fi or router issues: Confirm that the internet is working and that your Wi-Fi router is connected to the internet.
