How do I find the MAC address of a sensor?

Most wireless access points allow you to create a whitelist of devices that are allowed to participate on a wireless network. This whitelist is usually based on a device’s MAC address.

The process to find the MAC address for an H2know sensor is:

• Plug in the sensor at a location near your computer
• Change your computer’s Wi-Fi network connection to “H2know” or “Water Monitor”
• Go to your browser and enter this into the URL bar: http://192.168.4.1/
• At the top of the page you should see the MAC address for that sensor
